Allan Caswell and Lindsay Waddington continue their adventure through all the different flavours of classic country music.
For their new single Living My Life On the Rails, Cas and Waddo teamed up with highly respected bush poet, entertainer and much-loved character Mark Bushie Thompson to create a song that is Bushie. His lifetime love of train travel and all things Australian was carefully crafted by Cas, Waddo and Bushie into a classic, story driven train song. "When Waddo and I write story songs we try to make everything completely authentic … writing Living My Life On The Rails was easy … we had Bushie to contribute ideas, and he had spent his whole life living it." Produced by Waddo at his LWM House Studio and featuring some of country music’s top shelf musicians Living My Life On The Rails is classic country music that, at the same time, has a really contemporary sound to it. Cas’s story teller vocal delivery brings Bushie’s story to life. Cas and Waddo’s songwriting partnership started in 2021 and has produced dozens of top-quality songs, 3 Lynchburg albums, several top 10 chart recordings, work on each other’s solo projects and songs recorded by a number of other artists. Living My Life On The Rails is the follow up single to the top 10 single 12 Good Men.
